Grand Workshoppe Piano Company Mission Statement

Founded in 1979, Grand Workshoppe Piano Company has been owned and operated continuously by founder Mr. Daniel Fusco. Since inception, Grand Workshoppe has specialized in all aspects of piano technology ranging from in-home tuning to nation-wide remanufacturing. All shop services are provided in-house in our full scale rebuilding facility by our craftsmen, with no outsourcing other than keytop recovering.

Mr. Fusco is a graduate of Perkins Institute of Piano Technology with certifications in piano tuning and repair, and advanced rebuilding. Further education includes studying piano building practices of some of the world’s finest builders including Mason & Hamlin, Wm. Knabe, and Chickering, formerly of East Rochester NY, Steinway & Sons in both New York and Hamburg, Germany, Renner Action Parts in Germany, North Hudson Woodcraft in Dolgeville, NY and numerous other component manufacturers around the world. This extensive training and nearly 4 decades of experiences has allowed for the highest level of piano services.

Over the years the company has spawned other enterprizes specializing in different areas of the music industry. This includes Three Rivers Music Products marketing over 3,000 SKUs and a manufacturing division that designed some of the world’s finest wooden music products such as Music Storage Cabinets, Piano Foot Platforms, Piano Benches, and Wooden Music Stands, with distribution on four continents.

During the years of 2003 and 2007 CEO Daniel Fusco sold off both divisions to allow time to focus entirely, once again, on rebuilding pianos and servicing an extensive clientele of private and institutional piano owners; exactly what he likes to do best.
