You know the years are passing when you take logs to the sawmill to have cut into boards, from a tree that you planted! The piano business consumes its fair share of natural resources. Since my first year in this industry I have planted trees in numbers which far exceed that consumed by my shop. There is a Global 1 Trillion Trees initiative to help fight climate change. This is the single most effective way to remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and replenish oxygen. On Oct 13, 2020 President Trump signed an Executive Order establishing the One Trillion Trees Interagency Council, which will be responsible for coordinating the Federal government’s support of the global One Trillion Trees Initiative.
